I decided that a great way to start fresh with this blog..would be to transfer it to Tumblr! Whaaat? Yeah. Wordpress became too complicated. Not complicated, but I was hosting multiple sites on my one account with different URLs, and it just became too confusing. Either way, welcome to simple!
I want to share my workout today, since I think..two? people have asked about it. Haha. I’ve been following this same routine for a few weeks now. It feels great. Depending on the day/how I’m feeling, I will fluctuate with intensity or reps.
Warm Up:
- 30 seconds Jumping Jacks, 30 seconds Butt Kicks
- 10 Sit-Ups, 10 Push-Ups, 10 Burpees, 10 Box Jumps
Kettlebell Workout:
- 30 Swings
- 20 Around the Body passes (10 each direction)
- 20 Halos (10 each direction)
- 40 Bent Row (20 each arm)
- 20 Dead Lift + Row
- 20 Figure 8 (10 each direction)
- 20 Swings
- 20 Squats (10 with a side twist, 10 without)
- 20 One-Handed Swings (10 each side)
- 20 Russian Kettlebell Twist
- 10 Half Get-Ups (5 each side)
- 2x 15 second V Sit with KB on chest
- 20 Clean + Press (10 each arm)
- 20 Snatches (10 each arm)
- 20 Swings
- Strrrreeeeetttch
And that’s pretty much it. I’m exhausted by the end of this routine, but it makes me feel great. Total time with warm up and cool down runs about 35 minutes. I’ve upped my numbers some since starting, and hope to continue with increasing. Right now, I’m using a weenie 12lb. kettlebell. Hey..I’m a beginner. Wah. Hopefully I can up that weight soon, too!
